Workshop on Heritage Values and Law Enforcement at Sambor Prei Kuk site was successfully held for 4 days from 19 to 22 June 2022 at Kampong Thom Royal Hotel, opening Presided over by HE Prak Sonnara, Secretary of State, Representative of the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts and HE Touch Sokha, Deputy Governor of Kampong Thom Province; and closing represented by HE Som Sokun, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Culture Culture and Fine Arts: HE Touch Sokha, Deputy Governor of Kampong Thom Province; and Michael Greenwald, Public Affairs Coordinator, US Embassy.

The workshop was attended by 55 participants from Sambor Prei Kuk, Banteay Chhmar, Angkor, Preah Vihear and Wat Svay Andet in Kandal province, villagers living in/around Sambor Prei Kuk site as well as professional officers from 20 provincial departments of Culture and Fine Arts, to better understand and value cultural and natural heritage. This workshop is part of the Site Sacurity Education Program, which is funded by the cultural property agrement implementation grant (CPAIG) US Deparment of State.
