Maha Russey Ashram Conservation Project (N17)

Russey Ashram temple Project (Pr.Kuk N17) at the Sambor Prei Kuk site in Kampong Thom Province was signed between the Embassy of India and the Sambor Prei Kuk National Authority on March 25, 2022 at the 28th Plenary Session of the International Committee for Coordinating the Protection and Development of Angkor historic Site. abbreviated as ICC Angkor / Sambor Prei Kuk (ICC Angkor / Sambo Prei Kuk).

This Memorandum was signed by Dr. Devyani KHOBRAGADE, Ambassador of India to Cambodia and HE Phann Nady, Director General of Sambor Prei Kuk National Authority at Sofitel Angkor Phokitra Hotel, Siem Reap, under the chairmanship of HE Dr. Pheung Sakona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts.

Prasat Kuk or Asram Maha Russey Ashram temple (N17) is pre-Angkorian and has a rare appearance in Cambodia, built of large sandstone slabs with a style similar to that of Indian temples.
