Sambor Prei Kuk National Authority and Waseda University, Japan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to implement a five-year conservation, research and training project from 2019 to 2024.
-Restoration work will focus on N1 terrace, emergency consolidation of highest- risk sections of Temple N7, N8, N10, N12, N13 and M90.
-The research will focus on architectural and archeological survey at Prasat Sambor (N), as well as archeological survey in and around the city/habitation
zone and Robang Romeas group.
-Training program for architecture, archeology and plastic art, which is planned twice a year to provide knowledge and experience in the field of architectural
and archeological research and conservation and restoration methods, site development for tourism and for community sustainability.
